Keeping Your Computer Free And Clear Of Viruses
My most recent post of keeping computers clear of viruses in the health sense of the word brings home the reality that computers and people can definitely get sick from viruses. If you don’t keep your computer healthy, sanitized and free from software viruses both the computer and you will suffer.
So what’s the point here? The importance and understanding on how pertinent to keep an ever vigilance eye on your computer on the aspect of protection. There are a lot of ways that you can approach the subject of protection. First is the health aspect in cleaning your computer with antiseptic but as important as that is keeping it up to date with the latest virus protection patches from your antivirus software program.
Being aware of how viruses can infiltrate your system might be nice to revisit. You can get viruses from good old fashion discs, which hardly anyone uses these days. But there are still circumstances that you need to be aware of in this instance as well.
Email is the most popular way of getting viruses, especially those emails that offer you discounts, money or emails from people you don’t know.
If you don’t know the email delete it. If it’s that important the email will come back to you or the person will call you up asking if you’ve received it.
Now for keeping your computer up to date. Keep your computer up to date with the latest virus patches. Did I mention that twice? You see how important that is? Also keep running your quick scans daily and a comprehensive scan at least once a week. The more the better I say.
If you keep your computer healthy then your computer will stay healthy inside and out.
I know this may seem like old hash words to you but remembering the greats of any sports player comes down to the basics. If you master the basics then you can go to that next level. If you keep your computer up to date with virus patch updates and keep scanning on a regular basis then your computer will serve you many hours of enjoyment.
