Virus And Computer Doesn’t Have To Be Synonymous

Just because you have a computer doesn’t mean that you will eventually get a virus.  That just isn’t true if you take precautions not to get a virus.  So many people associate virus and computer with each other that they think they will get one is par for the course.

It is true that viruses that attack computers are there but if you protect yourself you can almost totally eliminate the scourge of what viruses can do.

You know what I’m talking about and that is purchasing and using antivirus software.  I know it sounds like a cliche to have antivirus software installed on your PC but there are so many people that think that the expense isn’t worth it.

I’m a little dismayed that the manufacturers of the PC they want to sell to consumers doesn’t come with this software prepaid as part of the operating system but they do.  you can’t have a PC without an operating system installed on it why not take it one step further and mandate that antivirus software should also be part of the package?  That will help eliminate a lot of the malicious scripts that attack so many networks these days.

Having antivirus software will take away the virus and computer syndrome that it will eventually happen.  Keeping up to date with the latest anti virus scripts through the vendor will help having peace of mind that nothing can get past your filters and a 24/7 monitor of identifying scripts that are known to be malicious.

Talk to someone who has lost their data on the PC and ask them if they would have spent the money to protect their data.  Especially if they have a home business where this information could be in the form of people, contact information and other confidential information.

So don’t make the basic mistake of saying it costs too much to purchase antivirus software because it isn’t when you look at the consequences of not having it on your system.

As I originally stated virus and computer does not have to go hand in hand.  you can beat the odds by investing in a software that will help keep your data intact and safe from intruders.
