Just What Is A Malware?

Here we go again with acronyms.  They never seem to end so get used to the idea of combing words together and even making up words to make it seem complicated and never to be attained again.  Well malware is actually comprised of two words made into one.  Malware actually is a composition of malicious software put together.  You’ll be able to decipher malware from each of the words.  The word is a shortcut meaning used by computer professionals to generalize malicious script code software.

Most of the time this term is used at higher levels of management which may dampen the effects of computer virus but it’s all the same.  Malware encompasses all software viruses into one general umbrella term.  So be it, now you know now the whole world knows about malware.

Malware includes computer viruses, worms, spyware, and all other types of malicious scripts that I forgot to mention.

Because malware is no different than any other virus on this planet the antivirus software industry has been just as predominant in trying to stop these malware codes of injustice.  Malware best known for intrusion are viruses and worms because of the manner on how they are spread throughout a computer network.

Software companies have been created and are maintained just for the sole existence of insuring that no malware exists on any computer network.  There are freeware programs that you can use that identifies and combats spyware, adware as well as malware, viruses and worms.  There is software that can provide real time protection against inadvertent installatin of malware software on your system.

You can never have enough protection on your system and so the more the better and insure that you download the latest updates and scan at frequent times during your work week.

You can never be too safe in this day and age with malicious scripts floating all over the place.
